Group Conflict of Interest Policy

1. Introduction

Haupt & Fouché is a juristic representative of Discovery Life Limited, an authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP). This Conflict of Interest Policy sets out how we identify, manage, and mitigate potential conflicts of interest that may arise in the course of providing financial advisory services.

2. Our Commitment

We are committed to acting in the best interests of our clients at all times. We recognise that conflicts of interest may arise and have implemented measures to ensure that such conflicts do not compromise the quality of advice or service we provide.

3. Potential Conflicts of Interest

The following are examples of potential conflicts of interest:

• Remuneration structures that may incentivise the recommendation of certain products
• Relationships with product suppliers or service providers
• Personal interests of our representatives or key personnel
• Non-cash benefits received from product suppliers
• Ownership interests in product suppliers

4. Management of Conflicts

We manage conflicts of interest through:

• Disclosure of all material conflicts to clients before providing advice
• Regular review and monitoring of our business relationships
• Training of our representatives on conflict identification and management
• Maintenance of clear policies and procedures
• Independent oversight where necessary

5. Remuneration

Our representatives may receive remuneration from Discovery Life Limited and other product suppliers in the form of commissions, fees, or other benefits. All remuneration received is disclosed to clients in accordance with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.

6. Disclosure

Where a material conflict of interest exists, we will disclose this to the client in writing before providing any advice or intermediary service. The disclosure will include the nature of the conflict and the measures taken to mitigate it.
